Bathroom was quaint and clean. Meatloaf and marinated chicken entrees were delicious and reasonably priced/portioned. Coffee wasn't too bold and chocolate cake was very good. Service was quick, if a bit brusque.
I grew up in Owego, NY. I remember The Parkview long before the big flood and current owners. If you appreciate history and a small town with the nicest people you could possibly meet you have to visit and eat at this establishment! We now live elsewhere yet visiting "home" includes The Parkview everytime we return(snowbirds) and never have we been disappointed with the service nor our food!! We love the restorations they are making for improvement, yet keeping the charm and value of its history of being the oldest running business in the county if not mistaken.. Congrats Beth and Mark for keeping and improving on this wonderful tradition and place in history! And yes it was haunted . Is it still?
Wonderful during lunch time, great friendly service and quickly servered. Food specials we're appealing and tasty. Very happy with the visit.
We love this place. Every meal we have had is excellent and the dishes they make are consistent. The atmosphere is pleasant and friendly. It has a relaxing feel and we have never had better service at any other restaurant. And it is a plus being in the quaint town of owego. I recommend that everyone try this establishment.
If I could give this restaurant less than 1 star I would. We spent well over $150 for 5 people to eat and the food was less than subpar. The Shrimp Scamp with pasta is 5 shrimp over spaghetti noodles and foil tasting sauce, the prime rib tasted like charcoal, the calamari is absolutely frozen calamari rings and you only get maybe 12. When we voiced our concerns nothing was done. Don't waste your money when there are spectacular restaurants on the other side of the road. We had to buy pizza at Pizza Hut after we left just so our kids had food.
