Nice store. I enjoy the produce especially. Like to shop the meat and deli cases too. Employees are great. Only issue I have is the LOOONG checkout Lines. Always.

The store is open 24 hours, only closing on major holidays and emergencies. However, the best time to go is still during the day as you're more likely to find shorter lines, and more registers open. Whereas at night there will be only one register open. The majority of people in the area have jobs that require later hours, and there are nights where you can be standing in line for 20 minutes or more. This is after 9pm, usually. Rarely do the other staff in store come to help the cashier, as most are stocking shelves, even though a few can act as cashiers.

Its the only big grocery store that I know of in this beautiful, quaint, and cozy town. All the employees seem very friendly and helpful. There is ample parking. There are a few other little stores and little restaurants in this strip plaza. Right across the street is a fairly large park. So, far I have enjoyed shopping here. Prices are not too bad either.

One issue is that they tend to be on the expensive side despite offering a discount card, daily deals, and trying to beat competitor prices. However, if they do run out of something, they allow you place a "raincheck." They take down your information, and will let you know when it comes back in stock, and for the price, or offer, at the time the raincheck was requested. Even if it takes several months.

Employees sometimes seem in a mood and the coloring of the store seems cold and feels uncomfortable. The prices are good and definitely a big business for Owego, but the customer service and checkout system could be improved or updated.

The staff is nice and willing to help you find anything. The aisles are clearly labelled, with many products to offer, although it can get quite difficult to find something due to label similarities, and how they're organized. This isn't intentional, at least not on their part. There is a bakery, as well as meat and seafood departments. There is also a deli that offers pre-prepared meals, pizza, subs, and wraps with a small sitting area toward the back. Most can be heated in store, but are more meant to be taken home.

Primarily, I enjoy the discounts I get on gas. The atmosphere of the store is better than most. Vegetables are reasonable in freshness, though the fruit baskets they offer are lacking. I've yet to buy one where the melon is ripe. Typically, the cantaloupe and musk melons are tasteless and tough.
